Airport bus data sources and limitations

Airport Bus Finder uses publicly available information from named sources to help users compare airport bus and airport limousine options.

Primary source categories include airport transportation information, bus operators and airport limousine providers, public transport and local government information systems, and reservation or timetable reference services.

Concrete sources used by the project include Incheon International Airport transportation guidance, Gimpo Airport transportation guidance, Gyeonggi Bus Information System, Airport Limousine, Seoul Airport Limousine, K Limousine, and Bustago where applicable.

When source labels differ, rider-facing names may be normalized while original names and official links remain available where useful.

Airport transportation pages are used for terminal information, boarding area references, airport-side transport guidance, and official transport notices.

Bus operators and airport limousine providers are used for route numbers, stop names, timetables, first and last bus information, fare references, and service notices.

Public transport and local government systems are used for stop names, stop IDs when available, route references, and regional transport updates.

Reservation and timetable reference services are used only as reference sources where applicable.

The data pipeline is designed around collection scripts and a published dataset so the current service data can be rebuilt from source inputs.

When an official site structure or service pattern changes, the collected data and UI presentation need review.
